5215 Miles
This red blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 25% Malbec is playfully named for the number of miles between our estate and Bordeaux France, which is 5,215 miles due East on latitude 45. Handcrafted and blended similar to some modern Bordeaux blends for the brilliant and robust characteristics. If you love big bold red blends, this ones for you.
Tasting notes
Lively, fruity and pretty, the wine offers aromas of blueberry and dried plum, as well as sweet vanilla and an inviting wisp of white flowers. Blueberry plays with strawberry on the palate, licorice lends an earthy herby sweetness and a dash of spicy white pepper enlivens the flavors through a bright, enduring finish.
