2016 Sangiovese
This unbelievable Brunello style Sangiovese is aged in French oak barrels for at least four years and then in the bottle for one year before release. Smooth with an elegant mouthfeel with stone fruits, cherry and vanilla with a hint of black pepper on the finish. You are sure to love this Brunello style wine as much as we do.
Picked at 24.5 brix then wild yeast is allowed to start fermentation for three days at which point we inoculate with BRL 97 yeast. We then ferment until our desired color is achieved. Punch down is twice a day taking care to not smash the seeds. Then this beautiful wine is transferred to French oak barrels for a 4 year aging process and topping of every month with only Sangiovese.

Our Columbia Valley grapes are grown on the south facing slopes of the Columbia River Gorge. These vines cling to basalt cliffs of the ancestral Cascade volcanic arc where they are spectacularly exposed to the heat of high flying mid-day desert sun.
