2012 Malbec
A deep, luscious wine that speaks to the true nature of the Malbec grape.
Tasting notes
A deep luscious wine with inky dark color, true to the grape. Jammy plum and soft black fruit overtones with subtleties of chocolate, coffee, marzipan, and violet, lending to a lengthy and soft finish of cardamom and nutmeg.

Raptor River is situated on a bluff above the Columbia River. Every time we go out to walk this vineyard, the Malboc literally is all over the place. The canopy is strange as it basically grows out from the bottom. Untangling the fruit is interesting and these vines being almost 25 years old, the clusters are long and thick, with huge berries that are black and leathery on the outside, juicy and sweet on the inside.
